Vanessa grew up in a Texas city right on the Mexican border. As such, she witnessed the challenges that immigrants and their families experienced while navigating complex U.S. immigration laws in order to be together. Seeing this motivated her to become an advocate for couples and their families. Knowing that she has helped families reunite after being separated for years is her favorite part of being an immigration attorney. Vanessa is not afraid of a challenge and enjoys identifying creative and unique solutions for difficult immigration cases. 

In addition to her law degree, Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing. In law school, she was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and the Women’s Law Student Association. She is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

 In her spare time, she is a big supporter of animal rescue organizations, and she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their many rescue dogs.
