Desiree Koger-Gustafson

Senior Immigration Attorney

Desiree felt called to the immigration field right out of law school and has found it very rewarding. The nuances and complexities of immigration law are such that she feels the general public really need the services of an attorney who regularly practices in it to navigate it successfully, and she loves that she can assist in this manner.  Assisting couples through such a joyful time is a great pleasure. Desiree is motivated by a desire to help and frankly, likes working! Desiree believes she sets a good example for her four boys by working hard and helping her community.

In 1999, Desiree graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Minor in Chemistry, and a Minor in Vocal Performance. In 2001, she received a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Health Administration. In 2008, Desiree graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree.

Desiree is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, is a board member of the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation and attends Central Ministries with her husband and four boys. In her free time, Desiree enjoys watching her boys’ sporting events and participating in fitness-related activities.
